Your Safety
For complete safety protocols for New York City Ballet, please visit the New York City Ballet site.
The David H. Koch Theater (the "Theater") remains deeply committed to the health and safety of our visitors, visiting artists, and staff, and we are continually adapting our health and safety protocols in consultation with medical advisors and in line with federal, state and local guidance.
As of November 1, 2022, following CDC guidelines and the availability of vaccines, boosters, and antiviral treatments, mask usage and proof of vaccination by visitors when attending performances at the Theater is not currently required. Patrons who wish to continue to wear a mask are, of course, welcome to do so, and we ask that if you are suffering from COVID-19 or cold-like symptoms that you please stay home. If you have been exposed to someone who tested positive for COVID-19 in the past ten days please monitor your symptoms and refer to the latest CDC guidelines, and as a courtesy to others, wearing a mask is recommended while in attendance. Should you need to miss a performance for which you are ticketed due to health concerns, please follow the process and timing described in the Refund and Exchange Policy below.
General safety measures that are in effect at the Theater and Studios include upgraded ventilation systems with MERV 15 filters, and rigorous cleaning and sanitation protocols throughout the building.
Health and safety protocols are subject to change, and the Theater and its Visiting Companies will strive to communicate substantial changes to health and safety protocols in advance of performances. Visitors and Ticket Holders should review this page periodically to identify changes impacting one’s ability to attend based on individual circumstances.
