Join America's National Ballet Company® for two stunning weeks of exciting, dynamic, and effervescent ballets. The season opens with Whipped Cream, a delicious two-act ballet sprung from the imagination of ABT Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky and pop surrealist visionary Mark Ryden. Following this fantastical production, five vibrant one-act ballets take the stage including Frederick Ashton's The Dream, Christopher Rudd's ground-breaking World Premiere Lifted, Jiří Kylián’s Sinfonietta, Jessica Lang's Children's Songs Dance, and Alexei Ratmansky's The Seasons.

Whipped Cream

In this fantastical confection, a young boy overindulges at a Viennese pastry shop, and falls into a delirium. To escape from his intimidating doctor, the Boy dreams of his rescue by Princess Praline and her court, complete with Princess Tea Flower and Prince Coffee—as well as marching Marzipan—concluding in a festive celebration! A dollop of delightful whimsy, this thoroughly inventive ballet, sprung from the imagination of Alexei Ratmansky and Mark Ryden, is destined to delight ballet fans of all ages. Indulge!

Join ABT for a week of enchanting one-act ballets including Alexei Ratmansky's The Seasons, a New York Times Critic’s Pick “born from joy and bursting at the seams;” Frederick Ashton's The Dream, a humorous production inspired by Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night's Dream; Children’s Songs Dance, a new work by Jessica Lang set to the music of jazz legend Chick Corea; Sinfonietta, Jiri Kylian's exuberant ballet, a milestone in contemporary choreography; and Lifted, a ground-breaking World Premiere by Christopher Rudd celebrating Blackness and created on an all-Black cast of ABT dancers.
